- Then, do all preparations for Puja, and wear clean white clothes.
- Decorate the place of Puja & establish the idol of Laxmi Devi & Lord Vishnu.
- Then, make palm-full offerings to the Sun including Khai, Janhi (striped gourd), cucumber, banana, coconut, and betel nut, which is called ‘Anjuli’.
- Pamphul is usually performed by offering Arghya to the rising sun seven times.
- Now, performed Puja to Lord Vishnu and Goddess Laxmi.
- Offer the Dhup, Lamp, Kheer &, etc Puja Samgri to the lord & deities.
- Make a painting like Kumar Purnima Janha for the arrival & welcome of Goddess Lakshmi in your home.
- Unmarried women have to strictly follow the all rituals in this day because it will be best for their married life and partners.
- On this occasion, girls can play the traditional game “Puchi” and boys can play the Shatranj (Chess).
- On this day devotees should keep fast and offer also Prasad or food to Brahmin & Pandit.
