शरद पूर्णिमा व्रत कथा (Sharad Purnima vrat katha)
पौराणिक कथा के अनुसार एक नगर में एक साहूकार की दो पुत्रियां थी। दोनों ही पूर्णिमा का व्रत रखती थीं। बड़ी पुत्री व्रत पूरा करती थी, लेकिन छोटी पुत्री व्रत को बीच में ही अधूरा छोड़ देती थी। जिसके कारण छोटी पुत्री को संतान प्राप्ति में दिक्कतों का सामना करना पड़ रहा था। उसकी संतान जन्म लेते ही मृत्यु को प्राप्त हो जाती थी। जब छोटी पुत्री ने पंडितों से इसका कारण पूछा तो उन्होंने बताया कि ऐसा तुम्हारे व्रत अधूरा छोड़ने के कारण हो रहा है। वहीं, इसका उपाय पूछने पर उन्होंने बताया कि यदि तुम पूर्णिमा व्रत को पूरे विधि-विधान के साथ करोगी तो निश्चित ही तुम्हें संतान की प्राप्ति होगी।
पंडितों की सलाह पर उसने पूरे विधान के साथ पूर्णिमा का पूरा किया। जिसके परिणामस्वरूप उसके यहां बेटा हुआ। लेकिन कुछ समय बाद वह भी मर गया। इसके बाद उसने बच्चे की देह को एक पाटे (पीढ़ा) पर लेटा कर ऊपर से कपड़ा ढक दिया। फिर वह अपनी बड़ी बहन को बुलाकर लाई और उसे उस उसी पाटे पर बिठाने लगी। बड़ी बहन जब उस पर बैठने लगी जो उसका लहंगा बच्चे का छू गया और वह जीवित होकर रोने लगा। यह देखकर उनकी बड़ी बहन ने कहा कि तू मुझे कलंक लगाना चाहती थी, मेरे बैठने से यह मर जाता। इस पर छोटी बहन ने उत्तर दिया कि यह बच्चा तो पहले से ही मृत था, बल्कि तेरे ही भाग्य से यह जीवित हो गया। इसके बाद दोनों बहनों ने सभी नगर वासियों को शरद पूर्णिमा व्रत की महिमा और विधि बताई।
Sharad Purnima 2024 Pujan Vidhi
If you are new and do not know how to do Puja Vidhi then follow the below steps;
- Wake up before sunrise.
- Take a bath and wear clothes.
- Then, take a pledge of fasting.
- Offer, clothes, Asana, Flowers, Akshat, incense, Lamp, Betel Nut, Naivedya and Dakshina, etc.
- Gather all the deities and start worship.
- Now come to the evening process. You have to mix ghee in milk kheer and offer it to God at midnight.
- As Chandra Dev comes then offer Kheer Nevaidya.
- A pot of Kheer is placed under the moonlight the entire night and distributed to every family member in next morning.
- Lord Shiva-Mata Parvati and Lord Kartikeya should be worshiped on this day
